Lakeland Blue Double Walled Water Bottle

I've owned this bottle for about 3 weeks and I've had no troubles with it. It's seems like a sturdy bottle and feels as if it should last. I love that the inner is glass and that the water has very little chance to contact any plastic. Around the pouring spout (which I drink straight from) there are a few flash lines which make great dirt traps. If you're wearing a lip balm or a lip gloss then you'll see what I mean straight away! The lid never seems to screw on straight either, this hasn't been a problem though, just a finicky detail I wish was right.

I bought this for use at he gym and sports. Although it keeps the water cold, the size of the bottle is deceptive and it holds a lot less than it looks to. A good sip and its half empty. I am sure this bottle has its uses, but not good for sports. HOWEVER, i have found its uses. Its great for a morning coffee in the car on the way to work. Keeps it hot, spout is easier than traditional travel mugs, and less risk of spills. Fits in the cup holder perfectly. Designed for one thing badly, works perfectly for alternative use

As a dance teacher I carry water with me everyday. I hate using plastic so was delighted to discover these bottles. They look great BUT leak badly! Ive read Lakeland’s advice to make sure the ring is really tight, sometimes you get a good seal but most often you just cant and no way of knowing until the bottom of you bag is wet AGAIN or the outer plastic holder has water inside. Ive now tried 3 of these bottles - all have the same problem! I continue to use them because they are glass – just wish Lakeland could manage to source a bottle that doesn’t leak. 3 stars only because they are glass!

I did not like the idea of plastic as in the past they get tainted,so as I have to carry to work I purchased two of these and both have leaked into my bag.so not a happy bunny.nice concept but shame about the leakage.

I wanted a water bottle I could carry around in a bag at work and when out walking, no chance using this it leaks to a point were I had to empty half of the water out of the bottom of my work bag and soaked a top carrying it in a back pack. I still don't understand how it leaks so badly as the screw tops seem very secure. So back to the drawing board looking for a bottle fit for use.
