How can I get things to simmer on the lowest gas setting? It has always been a problem. Not anymore. I use it every day and can walk away with confidence that nothing will stick. Even my husband uses it and he is not a kitchen gadget fan. Well done Lakeland.

i bought this gadget a few days ago ....the staff in the shop assured me this really did work.....or i could bring it back..........well ......its fantastic,,,,,,i can now simmer my stews on my smallest gas ring.....well impressed............

Works well for simmering stews etc and makes it easier to clear up those little spills, unlike the usual defuses plates with the holes. Also use with my earthenware garlic baker.

I have had problems simmering on my gas hob. This product solve the problem. It is great. 8 have successfully simmered chutney, soup, casseroles and fruit.
