Yellow Icing Colour

I like to use gel colouring as it does not dilute the batter or icing like traditional liquid colours. I have many colours in the cupboard but yellow is the one I use most. The colour is vibrant in the pot so you are a little wary of it at first, however, it does fade a little when baked. I find I add a little bit more in cake batter than in icing or buttercream. Great colour and easily mixes in. The only downside I find with these pots is getting the foil seal off, so now I just stick a cocktail stick through the foil and then drop the colour into my bowl. Overall, good value and lasts ages.
