"Very disappointing"
Although this expresso maker looks good it was a real disappointment. It is too small to fit on a gas hob as the base isn't big enough to sit safely on the hob. Also it has a metal handle that, even with the gas down low, still becomes so hot that you can't pick it up once your coffee is ready. Also, the gas discolours the base on the first use. This is not the first expresso maker that I have had but it is the most stylish. Don't be fooled by its looks...I shall be buying a basic looking version as soon as possible.
