Waited ages to get this but it chipped the very first time I used it for peppercorns. These were the main thing I wanted it for to stop them popping out all over the place as happens in a traditional mortar. Majorly disappointed as I had looked for one for so long then waited as it was out of stock for ages. However exceptional customer service from Lakeland to resolve this - replacement product on its way
