My mum prefers to batch-cook for herself and these containers fit neatly in her freezer and make no extra washing up in the defrosting and heating process.
As a busy mum, I thought that these storage and cooking boxes sounded excellent; stockpiling for freezer. Not put it fully through it's paces yet, but have one in the freezer and sent husband to work with one yesterday full of tomato stew. We shall see if it stains... Only one concern; the collapsibility seems very good for storage, but is a bit scary when you are trying to get the lid on tight and accidentally press down... the whole thing (obviously) collapses! So I think you'd not want to transfer in hot food without taking great caution!
This product is woefully unfit for purpose. If you fill the container with food that has been cooked with oil (eg curry, chilli, soups), and then try to compress the container to squeeze the air out, the food starts to penetrate into the seal, and the lid flies off. This is because the container is made from silicon, and of course if you get oil on silicon, it acts as a lubricant (duh!) and the seal can’t hold. This product is probably only useful if you’re putting dry foodstuffs into it. Suggest a re-design with some kind of clamping mechanism on the lid.
