As with the other implements in this range the ultra-smooth finish suggests a polish or lacquer has been applied which might flake away after extended use. For this reason the star rating is reduced from 5 to 3.
Lakeland Beech Wood Slotted Turner 1 "Not dishwasher friendly" Mrs Suzanne Raynel 12 February 2017 Perhaps I should've known; but nowhere on the website nor on the packaging does this item say 'not to be washed in a dishwasher.' I ordered several items in this set, and they are ruined after a few uses.... varnish gone and now the wood is beginning to split! Beware!!
