Ideal for saving half an onion when you didn’t quite need a full one, our Onion Fridge Saver is going to save you those halves of onions that usually go straight in the bin.

Designed to look like a red onion, this attractive and useful addition to your kitchen will keep half-used onions fresher for longer, meaning you can use them in your sauces or for a warming onion soup rather than letting them go to waste. And with a screw-on lid, any odours that come off the onion are retained inside the container, saving your fridge from any onion smells.

I was quite sceptical about this item but knew I would be delighted if it worked! I like to keep chopped onion in the fridge for a quick sandwich or salad and nothing really contained the odour apart from several zip lock bags around an airtight container. But this actually works, so pleased!
