I wasn't sure whether I would like this product but I'm very pleased with it. The tomato stays far crisper and I suspect that it lasts much longer. It takes less room than putting the tomato on a saucer.
This is what it says keeps tomatoes fresh for longer well done Lakeland no more wasting tomatoes.
I looked at this and thought ... hmm, do I really need that? But I was fed up with finding half a tomato, which should have been still fresh, looking decidedly past it, so I bought this Tomato Food Saver. Well .. it works really well - used it today and could add the tomato to my salad roll, instead of thinking 'No I'll bin that actually'. As I always have tomato leftovers, it's going to be used for a long time. Thanks Lakeland!
This is better than previous tomato 'savers'; especially good for the larger 'beef' tomatoes.
