My husband bought me this as I have been wanting a multi-purpose blender for a long time and it is amazing. It is so easy to use and slices, grates and does everything perfectly. This is well worth the investment if you don't want to spend all your time standing in the kitchen and is so easy to clean and look after. I cannot recommend it enough. I only wish I had thought to get it sooner.
