"Brown food colouring sadly not brown enough"
I bought this natural food colouring as the only brown food colouring available for making the hemisphere owl cakes on the Lakeland website. I had ready to roll white icing. Unfortunately after a good half the little bottle the icing was at its best a slightly tanned, much lighter colour and the icing was a soggy mess. I then had to use so much icing sugar to make it roll-able again that the icing dried out and cracked and my daughter's birthday cake was not how I had envisaged it. No amount of smoothing the icing could fix it. A loyal Lakeland customer disappointed with this product.
