Fantastic, I have been looking for a longer bread knife for ages, with all the different types of bread around most are just to short. Recently I have started making my own, and this knife slices through fresh bread with absolutely no problem, it also comes with a blade protector.

This is not an attractive object but my goodness it IS effective so it wins a place in my kitchen. Slices through even the most difficult loaf with ease and never veers off at strange angles like some bread knives. It is also long enough to handle some of the huge loaves from our local farmers' market. A success!
