Coffee Grinder

This manual coffee grinder from Grunwerg is a work of art. Its sheer quality is the sort you would associate with such a high-end brand. Its weight makes grinding on surfaces easy, and prevents it from moving around. The mechanism is 100% ceramic, and is sharp and precisely machined; the sort of thing that will surely outlive me. It grinds consistently from a fine dust to a coarser grade suitable for moka pots and cafetieres. Grinding sufficient beans for a double espresso takes 1-2 minutes. If you can't accept anything less than perfection, then this product is for you. Highly recommended.

Made by Grunwerg Sheffield. Adjustment is easier than the other manual grinders I have seen and the handle is not as flimsy as it looks in the picture. The shape may make getting coffee out or cleaning more awkward than some, but I think it needs to be this shape so you can easily hold it as it is quite large. I have had no problems so far. Even so it may be difficult if you have small hands and set it to very fine for espresso. I have only used twice so far, but tried with bean version of same ground coffee it definitely has more flavour.
