KitchenAid 4.8L Glass Bowl 5KSM5GB

I've had my KitchenAid stand mixer for a five years and I love it. The glass bowl and lid have been a great addition. I can see from a distance how mixtures are coming together, rather than having to look down into the bowl. There are measurements on the side to help me add ingredients and a lid to keep the contents covered if I'm going to put it in the fridge or freezer, or while dough is proving. If you need to soften up butter before using you can put the bowl straight into the microwave for a quick blast. It's dishwasher safe too, so easy to clean up. I only wish I'd bought it sooner!

Have been looking for glass jug for ages. Kitchen Aid mixer came with 2 stainless steel, really wanted glass. Was a bargain at half the price, than other companies. It was well packed. Was kept up to date on delivery. Would definitely recommend Lakeland for good service.

I eventually bought this for my mixer. So glad I did as its been invaluable for my bread baking. Not only can I see my bread rising whilst proving but I have found it sticks far less than it does in my metal bowl, the cover is also a big bonus. It is however a tad heavy. Very pleased with the very fast delivery from Lakeland.
