This really is air/watertight & everything else. I actually bought it to keep in the garden with my chickens' corn in, in the hopes it would be slug-proof. As you all probably know, slugs can get in ANYTHING. But not this - the seal has defeated even the most determined slug!
I purchased 2 and no regrets. The 1st was to replace the meat box of my fridge. In terms of food hygiene it is perfect but in terms of style, it is much more. The 2nd was to store meds. At long last, my fridge no longer has a shelf space that would not look out of place in a pharmacy. Good size and capacity.
