The Chocolate Maker's Funnel

I put off buying this item as there were no reviews as I always like to hear other peoples comments, but I decided to take the plunge anyway. I'm so glad I did. It is well made and easy to put together and clean. It takes a little practice to know when to stop dispensing chocolate so you don't overfill the mould, but I guess I'll just have to keep at it, and keep testing the chocolates ha ha . I definitely recommend this, another great Lakeland product.

I didn't read any reviews for this before purchasing and I'm glad. I bought and used this today admittedly I have only melted down normal chocolate to use with some of your moulds but it worked very well for me. In the past I've had chocolate all over me and the sides and ended up with very little where I wanted it. This was quick, clean and easy to use. Yes it will take practice to get the flow right for the very small fiddly bits I imagine but I sure will have fun trying! For now though my Christmas chocolates and reindeer lollys turned out perfectly.

I bought this product to use with melt and pour soap and I am so pleased I did. it is so quick and easy to use and is a lot less messy that just using a jug.

I was so excited about this product as I make quite a lot of chocolates and find it fiddly to fill them. I tempered the chocolate as instructed,filled the funnel,squeezed over the mould, nothing happened. Squeezed again and then chocolate oozed out of the side of the nozzle. I persevered but ended up with more chocolate on the walls and work surface than in the mould. Reverted to a teaspoon in the end. Having read other reviews now, I agree that it might work well with thin untempered chocolate but that isn't what I bought it for and it wasn't what it said in the instructions. Such a shame

I love lakeland products but this is one I hated. I got this to make chocolates, thought it would be easy to fill silicone moulds but the chocolate never melted, the funnel mechanism was no good & hard to use. The plastic was stating to chip. Straight back to the shop it went.
