I ordered both of the books on slowcooker recipes and I am delighted with them. Haven't tried anything yet but just reading them makes me itching to get going. So many things I didn't know you could do in a slowcooker - wonderful. So easy to follow or adapt to your own taste. Well done Lakeland.
I purchased this book and there are some lovely recipes, however they are all for a 4.5l slow cooker which Lakeland do not sell. As the proud owner of a Lakeland 3.5l slow cooker I am very disappointed with the product and question Lakelands decision to market this book. At the point of purchase I did not study the recipe instructions in detail so was unaware of the recipe volume issue. My other slow cooker recipe book gives specific quantities and cooking times for the Lakeland slow cookers. If you buy this book buy another make of slow cooker.

Our buying team are always interested in expanding the recipe books we sell for our slow cookers, as it's such a popular way to cook delicious meals. They will sometimes test at home naturally using the kitchen products they own. To help customers, we do explain on page seven of this book that recipes need to be adapted to the capacity of your own slow cooker. We do this as we sell a wide range now from 1.5 litre to our largest at 6.5 litres. We hope that you'll be willing to adapt the recipes to suit.
