Lakeland Digital Add & Weigh Scale

I hesitated to order because of the 8" size stated which I thought was the diameter and perhaps a bit too large for my limited kitchen storage space. But when received I found it's oval and much less width than as I viewed the illustration. It's a very good and simple design with the bowl serving also as cover, which is much appreciated in the dusty country areas of the Algarve. Last but not least, a sensible AAA battery type.

I am very pleased with these scales. Although the bowl is small it is ideal for smaller amounts, but for my bread making I use my mixer bowl to weigh out the larger amounts of flour and it works perfectly. Because my kitchen is small, I keep the scales in their original box, in the cupboard. I would recommend these scales.

Very pleased with these scales. They are easy to use, the display is easy to read and the scale itself is compact especially as when not in use the bowl fits over the top of the scales. Very easy to zero before adding next ingredient and also to switch from grams to ounces. The bowl is quite small but for larger amounts I use a mixing bowl instead.

Bought these as my old scales would only weigh when the amount was an even number. These weigh well, but beware - when weighing different ingredients, the scale doesn't automatically go back to 0. It needs to be zeroed for every ingredient.
