Culinare One Touch Can Opener

I don't normally leave reviews for products but I have to for this one. Like other customers I thought mine wasn't working because it wouldn't turn off. I made the mistake of pushing the button several times and ended up having to remove the batteries to get it to stop. I took the tin opener back to Lakeland Belfast and I just have to say how helpful the staff were. I was told straight away that it would be replaced and because I had other items to shop for I left it at the counter. The sales assistant had discovered my mistake by the time I returned. Wonderful people, terrific company!!

I was a bit hesitant to buy this having read some of the negative reviews..however it works great and is a big help to me as I find it difficult to use a regular can opener. I am also delighted that it is compact and doesn't take up too much space!

I too had trouble with the first electric can-opener. It wouldn't stop until I had removed the batteries. However, on contacting the customer services department, I was promised a replacement. This was delivered very promptly and has been an all time success! No more struggling with an arthritic hand to open cans. Just place it on the can and watch it do its job! Wonderful!

My mum has arthritis & has great difficulty opening cans. So my aunt bought my mum this tin opener, however every time she tries to use it, it won’t stop! This upsets her. It’s very disappointing as we have tried all sorts of tin openers, and this is the second battery one from Lakeland. This first one kept locking up and she can’t use it either.

Don't buy this can opener it jammed when I first used it and I had to forc the lid off.The only way to stop it was to take the battery out it is nothing like as good as the culinaire which worked for a very long time. I would like to put negative stars but that is not allowed so I musat put 1
