If you've bought the soft cheese book then you may like to know that this mould is just the right size for the recipes in the book. Easy to clean too. The Halloumi is really nice by the way!
Have to agree - the label on the bottom inside was a so and so to remove. Had to get out the Sticky Stuff remover!
Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry for the trouble needed to remove the adhesive. The best way is to soak the item in hot soapy water, which will help.
Received this great little mould this morning and very happy to report labels came off very easily.Sturdy little mould should last me for a few years even with the amount of cheese we get through.
I had a big problem with making cheese out of the Lakeland cheese book and a much smaller problem with the mould. The sticky label on the inside of the mould was difficult to remove and left little bits of glue behind. Apart from that it is reasonably priced and I hope will eventually do the job.
Having read these comments I'm sorry to report that getting the label off was still a big issue on my recent purchase. I could not get my hands inside the space easily to peel it, and when I managed to get at it, it was NOT easy peel. 12 pieces in the end - I have a picture but can't work out how to post it! However once I calmed down and actually used it I have been very happy with the product. Why not just put the label on the outside bottom? It can't even be easy to get it in there! Amanda
