Zyliss Smart Clean Food Chopper

A chopper and dicer in one package, Zyliss’ manual food chopper is handy for all manner of foodstuffs, especially onions, nuts and chocolate.
Easy to use, just pop your food of choice underneath and keep pressing the top until its chopped to your desired size. As you press, the high-quality stainless steel blade rotates for faster chopping, and the wiper blades keep the chopping blades clear for more efficient chopping. You can either chop onto the included base, or straight onto your chopping board, and use the base as a handy scraper, to make sure every last bit goes into your meal.
The soft touch plunger ensures chopping is comfortable, and locks down for convenient storage. There are also measurement markings on the side of the transparent chamber, letting you know exactly how much you have.
When you need to clean the food chopper, the bottom half is hinged to let you get at those hard-to-reach places. Alternatively all parts are dishwasher safe, for even easier cleaning.

I know it does small quantities but that is what I want, not loads of onions, etc., so I would recommend this food chopper. And it can be cleaned in the dishwasher! What more do we need! Thank you Lakeland. When I need to replace it, when it is worn out, I hope I can still buy another one the same, and yes, a bit cheaper would be nice too.

As with previous Zyliss choppers works well. No quibble replacement by Lakeland was much appreciated as electric press and chop ceased working and really wasn't fit for purpose.
I purchased this to replace an earlier and similar model that had worn out. I find it to be an improvement on the earlier unit. It chops herbs such as mint finely and excellently. I recommend this utensil for chopping normal household quantities of such ingredients.
Good gadget but you really have to bash it for it to work!
