Elizabeth 23 December 2016 I know it does small quantities but that is what I want, not loads of onions, etc., so I would recommend this food chopper. And it can be cleaned in the dishwasher! What more do we need! Thank you Lakeland. When I need to replace it, when it is worn out, I hope I can still buy another one the same, and yes, a bit cheaper would be nice too.
Zyliss Smart Clean Food Chopper 5 "Zyliss Food Chopper" Ms Baskin 29 February 2016 I purchased this to replace an earlier and similar model that had worn out. I find it to be an improvement on the earlier unit. It chops herbs such as mint finely and excellently. I recommend this utensil for chopping normal household quantities of such ingredients.
Zyliss Smart Clean Food Chopper 3 "Saves on effort but not time." Mrs Nuttall 24 November 2015 I find this product quite awkward to use, each time I've used it the plastic blade cover falls off and needs to be re-assembled. It chops vegetables successfully, and can finely chop, but the main drawback is you can only chop small quantities at a time (approx. 1/4 of an onion) otherwise the blade area clogs. I used it to chop 300g of carrots, to save grating them, this was certainly a lot easier than grating as you just repeatedly apply pressure to the top plunger, but because you need to do it in small quantities, it was still quite time consuming.
