Very good if you only want to weigh large quantities e.g. jam making. But smallest graduation is 40 grams, so no good for measuring baking ingredients. They are, however, very sturdy, good looking and accurate within above limitations.
I used my new Terraillon scales for the first time to make a fruit cake only to find it's impossible to get an accurate measure of the ingredients. I chose this scale for it's large weighing capacity but the increments don't add up. I thought I was going mad trying to work out the scale. The Terraillon is pretty to look at and has a lovely, deep and wide bowl but if you're a serious cake baker who likes an accurate measure, then this isn't the weighing scale for you.
