Made from durable brushed stainless steel with a riveted handle, they have encapsulated aluminium core bases to ensure optimal heat distribution without hot spots.

Does everything it's supposed to. You must keep the heat down or it will burn the food and mark the pan,with lower heat needed for cooking it makes it more economical (lower fuel costs) to use. Highly delighted with it.
I visited the lake district in January. I usually buy online, but enjoyed my visit to the store in Windermere. I always buy my pans from Lakeland and bought this frying pan on impulse as my usual one was not in stock. I find my frying pans last about 3 years before they stick. At over £40 I thought it must be good quality. It is dreadful and has been pushed to the back of my cupboard for months now. I bought another frying pan this week elsewhere, so decided to go on to Lakeland web site to see what reviews there were regarding this pan. I was not surprised to see everyone in agreement.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS ITEM IS STILL BEING SOLD AS NON STICK AFTER ALL THE POOR REVIEWS, THERE IS PLAINLY A PROBLEM WITH THE COATING, IT ONLY STAY'S NON STICK FOR A SHORT WHILE AND THEN BECOMES THE FRY PAN FROM HELL. IF IT WAS A CHEAP PAN I WOULD UNDERSTAND, BUT NOT FROM A PAN FROM LAKELAND. THIS HAS BEEN OUR WORST PURCHASE FROM LAKELAND EVER. SHAME BECAUSE UP TO RECENTLY ALWAYS RECOMENDED LAKELAND TO ALL.

For a frying pan costing this much i expected better. The write up says it only needs the tiniest amount of oil - unfortunately even with large amounts of oil food sticks. I would also point out that it came with labels on the bottom of the pan. These were not even easy peel labels and took some scrubbing to remove the adhesive. Not great for a pan that is for a ceramic or glass hob!

Our pan never seemed to work as a non stick even with a bit of oil. Have bought pans for much less that work much better. Can't find receipt so straight to the bin with this one.
