Stainless Steel Ceramica 20cm Frying Pan

I really don't understand the very negative review here as I have found these pans outstanding. They are a good weight, not too heavy or too light and they have a very well designed handle. Best of all is the amazing non-stick surface. Food cooks perfectly with excellent even heat distribution and everything slides out easily. The pans are described as dishwasher proof but I can't imagine why anyone would want to bother. They are very easy to clean (as no food sticks to them) and a quick rinse is all they need - but "freezer proof"? I must admit my mind boggles at that!

I decided to try a ceramic pan because a friend was raving about hers, and picked this for my induction hob. A happy decision! It heats easily and evenly and it retains heat. I've used it seven or eight times, usually with oil or butter, occasionally dry, washed it by hand or in the dishwasher, and it's looked as good as new. It heats easily and evenly and it also retains heat. It doesn't take in water in the dishwasher. I have pans with a thick magnetic base added, where water seeps in. They look dry till you heat them, and the hob floods. I can be confident that this one won't do that.

I bought the set of 3 different sizes of these pans as ceramic frying pans have very good reviews as being non stick and very good quality overall. Moreover, I needed cookware that would work with my induction hob. However, after few times I used them, the non stick just stopped working making me use loads of oil to be able to fry anything on them, whereas ceramic frying pans should use only a little bit of oil or none at all to fry on. I returned all three of them 2 months after purchase. Waste of time and money. I would strongly not recommend this product!

I bought this frying pan because I have a ceramica wok and milk pan which I have found excellent and very easy to clean but this frying pan leaves a greasy mark around the edge after use which is impossible to clean off without resorting to a scourer which defeats the object of having a ceramica product. I shall be taking it back to the shop once the Guildford store is reopened after its refit.

I've wanted one of these pans for ages, but I am not very happy with it. I used two days ago for scrambled eggs, and had to soak it for two hours to get the egg off.
