Insulo Gauntlets

I purchased these gloves for the fact they were longer up the arm than the other version for sale on LakeLand. I required them for an all-day charity BBQ I was cooking at. These gloves were very good. They were a light tight for my hands but I’m a 20st chap with BIG hands. The gloves combined with the heat of the BBQ all day was very hot but the heat was much more acceptable than the burning heat from the BBQ.

These Gauntlets are brilliant for Guide camp, and working around an open wood fire, as the girls can have confidence that they won't get hurt. This means they can move the heavy pots required for group cooking, cope with a spitting frying pan and add more wood without flinching which is much safer for both them and the rest of the camp.

Never before have I felt so safe handling hot trays and pots to and from the oven.

I bought these as I have to avoid infection from burns/scratches on my arm due to a previous operation. They work well. You can feel some warmth through but not too much to be uncomfortable. They are a bit more effort to put on compared to 'standard' oven gloves but worth the effort to decrease the risk of burns.

These are so much easier to use than traditional oven gloves. For example, when removing a casserole from the oven to check on it, I was able to keep the gloves on when removing the foil, due to the individual fingers making it easy to get hold of and didn't get the hot steam escaping onto my arms, then I could give it a stir, still wearing the gloves as you can grip the spoon easily and I feel confident transferring hot items to and from the oven due to being able to grip tightly with your fingers around the dish.
