Lakeland Nylon Cooking Utensils - Slotted Spoon

When you need to lift food quickly and gently out of cooking water, poaching liquid, stock or cooking fat – to test before draining the whole pan or reserve the liquid or oil for the next stage of the process – this Nylon Slotted Spoon is the tool you need. With a really comfortable moulded plastic handle to give you great control as you work with boiling water and hot fat, it’s also heat-resistant to 210°C and non-stick friendly so that you can’t damage it, or your precious pans, in the process. Helpfully, there’s an integrated stand on the shaft of the handle for propping on your worktop, and it’s perfectly safe to pop the spoon in the dishwasher when all the cooking’s done.

surprised about previous comment, as I have found all the items in this collection to be very sturdy and not flimsy at all....would certainly recommend
Bought 4 items from this set - not very pleased as they are so flimsy. Guess its a case of buy cheap you buy twice! Gonna have to find another set elsewhere that are stronger.

The balance seems wrong with this utensil. The spoon part is rather small and the handle part is too chunky for it. It is unusual for me to be disappointed with any Lakeland product but I'm afraid I am this time.
