Lakeland Pastry Blade

This is by far the most useful adition to my kitchen in a long while. I have arthritis in my hands and making scones or pastry was difficult. But with this wonderful 'gadget', it mixes the butter into the flour in no time, and gives perfect results every time. So thank you Lakeland!

I love pies & crumbles but loathe having to 'breadcrumb'; I can't abide the feel of flour running through my fingers (my 'chalk on a blackboard' pet hate). This great little gizmo does away with me gritting my teeth to make pastry, and gets on with breadcrumbing in the margarine & lard into the flour, quickly & effectively, without me having to touch it. I wouldn't be without it!

Bought it not believing it would work but it does. Excellent. Just made pastry and my fingers and thumbs don't ache like they normally would. Had to finish the last bits myself but not a problem.

really pleased with this product, I hate getting my hands messy, I would normally rub in by food processer but this does the job brilliantly and hardly any washing up.

I don't' bake all that much, so when I do it's good to have something that speeds up the process. I've never been very happy at getting my hands all messed up whilst making pastry, so bought this to see if it would help. I've used it twice now, and not only does it work, it's much quicker than doing it by hand. And it cleans perfectly in the dishwasher afterwards - what could be better! It definitely does what it says it does! One of my best lakeland buys!
