    Special knives need a special home and this handsome, lightweight, see-through acrylic knife block will look like a piece of modern art in your kitchen.

    The acrylic block includes 3 ceramic knives:

    • Utility Knife with 10cm blade ideal for fine work like scoring fish skin or piercing the skin of a roast to insert sprigs of herbs
    • Chef’s Knife with traditionally curved 15cm blade so that you can easily chop with a rocking motion
    • Slicing Knife with 12.5cm blade ideal for for portioning, trimming and carving portions of meat or fish

    About our Ceramic Knife range

    Crafted from zirconium ceramic for durability, the mirror-polished blades of our ceramic knife range are 50% harder than steel and will stay sharp about 10 times longer.

    Being ceramic, the knives won’t rust or discolour fruit or vegetables – which makes them perfect for preparing salads – and, because they’re really light, they’re a joy to handle, too.

    "Cutting edge"

    We think these are the best knives ever! They take a little extra care to look after, but they are so sharp it's worth it. I have bought the individual knives in the past as Anniversary presents for friends who love cooking, and they have been very pleased with them.

    These knives are, quite simply, the best I've ever owned, and that includes Sabattier knives. It must be remembered, though, that being ceramic you can't use them for anything other than knives. We've all used knives as screwdrivers, etc.
