Crafted from zirconium ceramic for durability, the mirror-polished blades of our ceramic knives are 50% harder than steel knives, will stay sharp about 10 times longer and probably never need sharpening at all.

amazing results I think I could shave with it I agree with the other review it definately needs a magnetised cover I have overcome this by sticking magnet strip to the cover works great something your manufacturers could come up with even if it increases the cost by 50p or a little more
Excellent cutting edge especially on veg, fruit and salad. Wish they made one with a longer blade, this one is OK for most things but can be a little on the short side. Please make a longer one, perhaps 18cm
A knife that slices raw meat and fish that also beautifully carves a hot roast - as a left hander this is the easiest knife I have used. A fantastic birthday present
Thought this would be a good treat to try. First test, hold it with two fingers and draw it across a plum... The blade just sinks straight in! Same with tomatoes. Very very very sharp. Very light to hold and work with. Only downside I can see at present is you can't lay it flat to crush garlic (or so instructions tell me) and it won't stick to our magnetic wall rack. Could do with a magnetic cover for that.
Bought one of these ceramic knives a while ago and was very impressed with the extreme sharpness. I took note of all the care instructions and have treated it with love and respect. Now, however, I find the blade is getting duller, although still pretty good, but definitely not as it used to be. I can't remember when I bought it but it must be about a year ago, so the claim that the blade never needs sharpening is not strictly true. I'd like to get the initial sharpness back but can't find out how to sharpen it, or even if it can be sharpened.
