Featuring Kilner's patented 2-part lid, after heating the jar and lid in hot water, pop the wax-disc vacuum seal on the jar then place the outer metal band on the lid and tighten … so easy to use and a real guarantee of long-term freshness.

I bought the half litre jars and used them to make 'Easy Baking Soda Air Freshener'...(yes, seen on Pinterest lol) as these are the same as Mason Jars (USA). Anyway, great jars, but any chance of smaller ones also?
After a recent trip to States, where a restaurant used Mason jars for drinks, I have been looking for something similar. I saw these in new store near me and they are perfect! Chilled water, with a slice of cucumber (no use for lids!) great refresher in this hot weather, and they look amazing. Very vintage!
I bought these as I have decided to make a foray into preserving. I made my first batch of spiced apple preserve a few days ago and I was a bit skeptical regarding undoing the twist top and picking it up by just the lid. I need net have worried. It held beautifully. I am now on a foray of preserving and so far have made 3 batches of relishes which are now tucked away for Christmas. I can't wait fir the rest of the kilner things to be delivered. Fabulous quality.
