"Perfect"

Love this toaster would love a kettle to match so please let me know if one becomes available

"Nice toaster, shame the slots are not longer - a bit tight"

Lovely colour. A standard even coloured toast for us on 4.5 setting took 4 minutes. Our old toaster did it in 3m 40s - so not a great difference. However, although the slots are wide (35mm against the old toaster of 28mm) they are not as long as we would like. Unless you put the bread in vertically (in which case they extend out the top when toasting) we found a normal slice was a tight fit. The slot length is 143mm - our old one was 170mm long - much better. Apart from the slightly short slot length, we have (so far) found it nice and convenient.

"A little disappointed"

The colour of this toaster is a much deeper bronze than the picture online which sadly doesn't match my kitchen. My main issue is the lead, it is very short and for some reason is situated at the front of the toaster so you have to run it along the width in order to plug it in at the back. This only leaves you about a foot of lead and it's a tight fit. You cannot have it anywhere but right under an electric socket. On the plus side it is a light and a neat looking model with really good size slots for wide toast etc. I am disappointed.

The cord is approximately 81.5cm in length and can be maneuvered in to place underneath the base and clipped in to the slot on the right hand side of the base rather than from the front of the base before fitting in to the plug socket.

"Just a bit slow"

This is a nice-looking and solid toaster with wide slots and a good range of settings. The only problem is that it takes quite a while to toast things. Unfortunately, this is pretty fundamental. The slower toasting time completely changes the texture of the bread. Even on the lower settings, where you can easily avoid burning the toast, it emerges very dry and hard. A bit like toast done under the grill. I'd strongly recommend that the next Lakeland toaster has a bit more power and gets the toast done quicker so that the bread goes crispy on the outside and retains a bit of fluffiness inside.

"4- slice toaster"

Looks good, wide slots, hence the 2 stars. As a toaster it wasn.t worth any stars. Too slow and the toast comes out like biscuit. Very embarrassing when offered to our guests. I'll stick with my very old Dualit, at least it toasts bread correctly. very disappointed
