I bought this primarily because of the gorgeous colour which matches our kitchen decor, it is a very stylish toaster. One criticism I have of this toaster is that one really has to ram the start lever down to get it to engage. This might be an issue for people with arthritis or similar disabilities.
First toaster toasted unevenly. After a few weeks it stopped working. Managed to get another as really love the look of it but exactly the same problems re uneven browning. Now it too has suddenly failed when toasting a piece of normal bread. As both those were sold at a reduced price due to damaged boxes we are having one more try with one hopefully from a different batch. The price is the same! Hmm. Ps miss the 'peep' facility of our last toaster
This toaster looks lovely and has the wide slots I wanted. However, I agree with the previous reviewer re the lever, plus, and most importantly, the toast is awful! I like my toast well done, but this toaster toasts both sides totally differently. One side burns if put on just under number 3, and the other side, hardly toasts at all, which I absolutely hate. I don't have the time to send this toaster back, so will be looking around for a better one shortly!

I have just purchased this toaster - lovely looking red to go with my kitchen. First piece of toast was good but then we tried to do two more and it tripped the electrics twice . Taking it back for a refund
