No fiddly tabs and nothing to line up – just push down the lid to lock with a tight seal, and then push the two tabs to open.
Rebecca from our Buying Team has been testing these food boxes at home and she’s delighted with their performance – no leaking, great quality, really useful sizes, and they don’t swallow up all the fridge space. And because of their crystal clear, high-clarity sides, she can see at a glance what’s inside – even when they’ve been in the freezer for ages.
They do exactly what they say on the box, and when ‘pushed’ shut, the lid creates a 100% airtight, watertight seal – even when we filled them with liquid and did the ‘shake test’, not a drop was spilled. When you want to open them, just push the two tabs on the sides and the lids simply pop off. Freezer safe, and microwave safe with the lids removed, they’re just the thing for storing and reheating lunches and leftovers.

Needed to replace some storage containers and decided on these in the hope that they would last, instead of buying 'cheap and cheerful' as in the past. These are excellent, I am completely satisfied and am about to order some more. So easy to seal and do not stain. Worth paying a bit extra to get an excellent product. Would highly recommend.
I love the look of these containers. I have 2 sets and the see through clear plastic lids makes it easy to see the contents and if used as a lunch box they make lunch look far more attractive. Beware! These containers do not travel well. I have used them to store my protein powder and have been caught out twice despite making sure the lids are secure. For some reason the lids will come off easily if they tilt or move - you are better with a Lock and Lock style container for travel.
Not one hundred percent happy with these boxes. I got them for our 12 year olds packed lunch, But even she finds them fiddly to open! I got one side open and couldn't open the other side, the Lock and lock containers are miles better.
Got these as the nested lock-and-locks were out of stock. Nice clear plastic, easy to snap the lid in place. However, the plastic seems to be rather brittle and 2 of the 3 containers have broken within the first week of being used. Admittedly these were both dropped on the floor by my 9 year old son who was using them for his packed lunch (the containers were empty at the time) but he has been using lock-and-locks for the past year with no such problems (with many, many drops to the floor). Good container if you handle it with care, but save your money and just buy the lock-and-locks instead.
