"Lovely bread" star star star star star My husband and I just love this bread mix.I bake a loaf every two days in my Panasonic breadmaker. The bread comes out crispy on the outside and nice and soft in the middle,much better than some of the dry,heavy loaves I have bought. It is important to stress,however,that it needs to be baked on the rapid bake programme of my Panasonic breadmaker - I found this information hidden away in the instruction manual. Once I had done this we found a huge difference in the finished product.So in 1hour 55mins you end up with a really super loaf (in our opinion) Hope this helps

"Really nice bread" star star star star star We really like this bread, the only problem is, we can eat half a loaf between two of us with butter every meal, so very bad for the waistline! Very tasty loaf. The top sank a bit in the bread maker, but the texture of the loaf was even, so just made for a sort squared-off sandwich loaf shape. I suspect this is an issue with the bread maker (a quite old, if underused machine) rather than the mix as it tasted fine, and was not overcooked on a stand 3 hour bake. May well use the machine more with this mix. Came on the site to order more, but it seems to be currently unavailable. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for the feedback. "Not as good as I hoped" star star star_border star_border star_border I was really pleased to find a sour dough loaf mix that I could just throw in the bread maker, but unfortunately it is not as good as making it with a proper sour dough starter as I usually do. The taste was unusual, and not popular with the family, which is surprising as that is the only bread we eat.
