Cake Pops Book

I bought this book because I wanted to get into making Cake Pops as I love baking! This book was perfect has some really good recipes and design that inspired me to think up some of my own designs! Just can't wait to actually make some!!!

Whilst being a qualified cake decorator I'd never made cake pops before. This book is fantastic it teaches you the basic technique for making pops along with some gorgeous recipes and inspiration for decorating techniques. I took my first attempts at cake pops using a couple of recipes from the book into the office and have had rave reviews. I'm being begged to bake them regularly as they can't get enough. Perfect for a novice or experienced baker. You'll soon master the techniques.

This book is amazing, the best cake pop book on the market. Thanks to this book my daughter now has a nice little sideline to pay for her driving lessons, once you try these little treats you won't want any old cake. I use flavours that are not a Lakeland product but they come in the most amazing range including butter pecan and candy floss, maybe a new line for Lakeland. We are always experimenting with flavours and have no shortage of willing cake pop testers.

I love the books but in my Celebration book it talks of candy melt to cover the cake pops. What is it?

The recipe leaflet that comes with a cake pop machine is more helpful to me. I assumed this was different recipes for the machine but its more about rolling cake balls yourself as far as I can tell. Shame really as I've wasted my money because the book is pretty useless for what I'm doing.
