Zyliss Stainless Steel Utility Knife and Sheath 14cm Blade

I wanted a general purpose knife which was comfortable and easy to use and this is certainly it! I cut up a lot of pineapples for smoothies and this does an excellent job of slicing through the tough skin with very little effort indeed. The grip on the handle is extremely comfortable and the sheath covering is very sensible so you know you can safely leave the knife in the drawer without anything untoward happening next time you put your hand in there! Plus I love the colour! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I've had this knife for a number of months now and I love it - it gets daily use in my kitchen for everything from dicing onions to slicing homebaked bread. The plastic cover keeps the knife sharp and protects my fingers when I'm rootling around in my cutlery drawer. I sharpen the knife every month or so and it has been one of the most useful kitchen utensils I've ever bought.

I am on my second Zyliss utility knife, only needed a replacement cause the husband did something stupid with it and chipped the blade! So, there was no question that I would buy any other knife, I knew this one was the best I've ever used. A good sturdy blade, no flex in it, very sharp and a great blade cover making it safe to store in a drawer. I would definitely recommend this knife and at £9.99 it a reasonable price.
