I am very pleased with this product - yes it isn't as strongly built as my 30 year old mixer. It is a good size for a small kitchen and will probably be used every day to make bread. I bought this in the Canterbury shop together with the Evenslice bread cutter. Both very good products and excellent service as usual from the store staff especially Nicola, the Manager.
I bought this mixer to replace an old kenwood chef over 40 years old, When it broke I was gutted!! My first thought was that to get a replacement as good as the old one I was going to need to spend about £300 for the new kenwood chef, I was so wrong, I couldn't afford it and need an new mixer to make a birthday cake so took an impulse buy for the prospero. I have made cakes, soups, chopped onions and used it far more than I ever used my other mixer. It does all the tasks with great ease, sits nicly in the corner of the kitchen and easy, would of liked a glass blender but for price can't complain
This multi system for our kitchen is one of the best we have used, it gets used everyday and still sounds and looks like new.
Picked this up from the Handforth store just before Christmas as I had a few bits to bake for family. Machine was perfect for the carrot cakes I had to make as it comes with a handy food processor attachment as well as juicer and blender. It also worked wonders on the Jamaican ginger cakes that contained lots of black treacle and golden syrup. Found the machine perfect for my needs as well as my small kitchen (I live in an apartment & surface is at a premium). Many thanks also to the kind gentleman that was working on the 22nd Dec approx 6pm who helped me out to my car with box -most kind.
Happy with the delivery and who was packed and ive just made my first cake and is absolutely delicious. washed very easily, easy to use, looks big for my kitchen , happy i did not go for a bigger one
