Transform your Kenwood Chef Stand Mixer into an efficient ice cream maker with this fabulous attachment. Making up to 1 litre of ice cream, sorbet or frozen yogurt in less than 30 minutes, the wide chute allows ingredients to be added with ease. Simply freeze the bowl overnight, add your ingredients and let your machine do all the hard work.

This ice cream maker attachment also comes with a double-edged paddle, which makes for ultra-efficient combining of ingredients, and the whole device has been designed with a quick clean up in mind: simply lift the bowl out of the base and give it a wash. There is also an included spatula to let you get every last bit of ice cream out of the bowl.

Using this ice cream maker attachment, you and quickly and easily make homemade ice cream, sorbet or frozen yoghurt without any artificial colours or additives to keep you and the family satisfied all day long.

This attachment is made to be used with the Kenwood Chef Titanium Stand Mixer.

"Firm favourite"

Having used this for 6 years I have only positive comments. There are a few simple things you can do to get the best out of it. It's such a beautifully simple design, so easy to use & clean, & such delicious results! 1. Freeze the inner bowl and paddle for 24 hours before using. 2. Make your mixture 24 hours before too, & leave in the bottom of the fridge. 3. Freeze your container to stop it melting too fast once you take it out. Having done all those things, then churning your mixture on speed 2, it only needs about 20 minutes to produce soft ice cream ready to serve or freeze for later.

I am returning my attachment as after 45 mins it still needed hours in the freezer. I have made ice cream for years using my Kenwood without a specific attachment.I expected to be able to serve immediately.

"Great Addition to Kenwood Chef"

This attachment makes really delicious ice cream. Completely different to shop bought and is great way to take advantage of fruit in season. It comes with a bowl that needs to be pre-frozen (if you can spare the space, you need to keep in your freezer so it's ready for use when required). All the ingredients, the paddle and the splash guard need to be ice cold. It takes about 30-40 minutes to for the ice cream to become slushy and then it needs to be finished in the freezer before it's ready to eat. I've had great fun experimenting and have made low-fat and even vegan ice cream.
