Decorate cakes as easily as writing with a pen. None of us could resist having a go when the Buying Team showed us their latest icing find – an ingenious device that makes cake decorating smoother than ever, with an ergonomic ‘pen’ handle that is comfortable to hold and easy to use.

Without the hard work of squeezing that’s usually required when icing, it’s ideal for beginners too, as controlling the flow is easier, so it’s much simpler to perfect your design – good news when it comes to icing neat messages on to cakes! Includes 2 disposable bags, 2 plastic couplers and 2 writing tips – 1 universal applicator.

Can be used with any standard piping bag and all size nozzles.

Easy to use -

trim the bag
insert inner coupler, fit the tip, screw on coupler cap
fill bag 2/3 full, fit into ‘pen’ handle
twist top of bag, pop on handle lever & you’re ready to ice!

"Not very impressed"

I wish I had taken notice of the negative reviews as I was hoping for something really impressive and find this quite disappointing. To my mind using this pen was no easier than just having a normal piping bag. Also both the nozzles mine came with are the same size and too big for writing with, I ended up using my writing tip from my set of nozzles, so quite a lot of money for basically just a piece of fiddly plastic.

having read reviews I thought I would give this a try.I was not disappointed easy to use as I have a hand tremor no more wavy lines for me thankyou Lakeland.worth every penny

"wasted my money"

I visited my local store to purchase supplies for making a birthday cake. I thought this product looked good, however it was a waste of time and money, doesn't work and ending up resorting to using normal piping bag for details. Wouldn't recommend this, wish I hadn't wasted nearly £10 on it!! First Lakeland product which I feel so disappointed with.

"waste of money"

This product really didn't live up to expectations. Its no different from using a piping bag with the same nosel - if anything that gives you more control. Its also fiddly to have to start cutting down the piping bags. Not sure why it doesn't just come with two that are the right size. Anyway it's now in the bin!

"so easy to use"

bought one of these to write on my grandsons 21st birthday cake - I was amazed that it was so easy to use and you could even read the message on his cake.
