Lakeland Electric Meat Mincer

Bought to process venison into sausages and burgers. Two batches in (2.5 kg mixes) and the mincer is holding up well. Only had one issue when stringy sinew clogged up the chopper blade - tip here is to constantly fed material down the chute. Its a bit noisy in use and I was worried about the fairly low duty cycle but so far, in using it just for mincing the thermal cut-out has not tripped (I use a separate sausage stuffer). The business end fits and removes easily and is easy to clean. The motor housing wipes clean easily and as its white, you can easily see where its got dirty during use.

This is a wonderful piece of kit. I have now made sausages twice using the mincer and sausage stuffer attachment. The machine works very well and is very easy to clean afterwards as well. The only thing I can say would make it better is if it came with more than the one size sausage stuffer, as the one supplied won't work for lamb casings.

I have borought this to mince meat for my raw fed dogs, I was concerned if it would be able to mince tripe, I was very happy the way it performed, bit more money than some brands but everything metal and easy to wash and put together, only one comment I could do with a bigger mince, anyone know where I can get one please?

Initially I was after a hand mincer to keep things simple and small but after trying two top brands and returning them, I decided to research electric mincers. I've only used this mincer once but I have to say it's very impressive for the price. 1.2 kg of beef shoulder in about a minute (and I don't rush) with no fuss and not too much noise. The business end has metal gears with an alloy chute and stainless steel hopper. The helical feeder is alloy and the mincing screens and cutter are steel (not stainless). I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a domestic quality mincer.

I used to have a (old fashion mincer)!! But now well how fantastic is this one so easy cut your chunks of meat small ish and just feed it through job done would not hesitate to recommend
