During testing, Rebecca from our Buying Team discovered that, as it’s so easy to use, she preferred cooking on this smart induction hob rather than on a normal one! Incredibly energy-efficient to save you money, it’s perfect not only as an extra when your main hob is full but will also be ideal in caravans as its compact size makes it easy to store, and it’s no bother to clean.
Takes pans with a base diameter of 12 to 22cm (4¾" to 8¾"). (Please check your pans are suitable for induction hobs before ordering.)

I am delighted with this. I have a five burner gas hob at present and thought this would be an excellent introduction to induction cooking before committing myself to changing the main hob. It is so fast, easy to keep clean and portable so can be used in the conservatory with our indoor barbecue when needed. Highly recommended.
A brilliant piece of design for an additional cooking hob that is small, neat, very quick and portable with a flexible control ststem that is easy to use. A must for any busy kitchen without existing induction hobs. from Mr Michael Southcombe
This hob was a lifesaver when we were renewing our kitchen I had no cooker for 2 weeks and found I was able to make great use of this hob for dinners etc., great Lakeland product and will come in very handy for our holidays.
Whoever designed this needs a pat on the back . Whoever commissioned it for Lakeland also should have a pat on the back . It's user-friendly , efficient , lightweight yet robust . Decent cord length and easy to clean . Last but not least it looks classy on our counter top . Lovely gift from my husband . I would be proud to buy it as a gift for a loved one and would recommend it to a friend . Don't hesitate , go ahead and treat yourself . I'm awarding it SIX STARS ! So impressed we've just bought another one !
I bought this little hob for the specific reason that it offers a timer. I make a lot of my own soup, and I was looking for something that would allow me to prepare ingredients, bring to the boil, then safely leave to simmer for half an hour or so while I get on with my work. Although I had to fiddle to find the ideal 'simmer setting' (200 on 'P'), now that I have, the hob is everything I hoped it would be. It's very easy to clean too, as the surface stays largely cool other than where the saucepan has been sitting. Pity the instruction booklet isn't better though.
