A blackout layer restricts light from passing through, and the breathable poly-cotton material ensures air circulation and reduces moisture so food stays fresher, longer. Drawstring tops give easy access, and the veg, potato and onion bags have zipped sides to ensure that first-come is first-served.

The onion bags are the best preserving bags out of all of Lakeland's preserving bags. The onions have stayed fresh for a couple of weeks and are not sprouting at all. Very pleased.

"Not enough variety"

I love these bags. I have had both potato (some years, from Lakeland) and carrot (from another supplier) for some time and today bought one veg and two onion as they were on three for two. I would like to see a red onion and a carrot one available from Lakeland. Otherwise very satisfied. I keep mine in the deep veg drawer in the fridge. No mess, no onion skins, no potato dirt, no bits at all.

"Unsure"

I really like the bags but call me stupid, I really don't know where to keep them? I kept some veg in the vegetables bag in the normal cupboard and they didn't keep. Am I supposed to keep them in the fridge?
