I have used lots of different bags like these. This is the best, I am surprised at the disappointment from some shoppers. Perfect size to keep a weather eye on how many spuds you have and when to do the next shop. Bigger bags have often ended up being useless and I have thrown away sprouting spuds on numerous occasions.
I would recommend this simple, inexpensive bag to everyone! What a difference it makes. The potatoes last ages and don't sprout at all! The bag is double lined, completely blackout and the low side zip entry is handy. Overall it's a good size and I'm really pleased with the quality. I think I might even buy the vegetable and onion bags too :D
I now have all these bags and they are all brilliant. My only complaint is that the mushroom bag is a bit small - on the other hand it is good for storing sprouts, which tend to get lost among the carrots etc in the veg bag. Would recommend to everyone.
There are only two of us in our home and one big bag of potatoes could last a long time. Sadly though, they go green and grow things BUT not any more!! This little bag is brilliant! The potatoes go in, they are kept in the dark (it's blackout lined) and there is a little side zip to dispense the potatoes when you need them. I bought some potatoes last week and they are still absolutely fine! Wonderful stuff, very reasonably priced and will save me money in the long run!
I just love these bags. My potatoes/vegetables/onions (bought these three) never looked better in my fridge. I've just bought new potatoes today and was about to bin the few left over in the bag. They looked almost exactly like new! My vegatable box in the fridge never looked better. Thanks to Lakeland!
