I bought the smaller version of this colander and found it excellent, thankyou to all involved for answering my request for a larger one, its not the cheapest on the market but if you want quality that lasts its worth the extra.
Although it's expensive for what it is, I'm glad I made up my mind to buy one. It's a good size and holds a decent amount, for example, of greens (spinach, lettuce, etc). Excess water runs off easily and with silicone on the base, it stays put on the worktop. All in all, a good purchase I'd say.

I was taken aback by the price - and then I added up how much I spend on cheaper versions which rust/come apart, etc, so I took a deep breath and bought. And it's worth every penny - no rice floated through these holes! Would now like an even finer one as well because even coarse bulghur, which we eat a lot of, trickles through, sadly.
The colander is great - sits in the sink on a slightly raised base and strains well. Slight niggle is that it will let some uncooked rice through, if you are washing it in there (combination of our tap pressure and the uncooked rice just about being able to fit through the holes if in the right position). But great nonetheless.
A smart colander, stainless steel hopefully won’t rust, dishwasher friendly, useful silicone base for non-slip.
