I have purchased several Cuisinart appliances, all of which are brilliant and this is no exception. I have had a breadmaker before which was no where near the standard of this one. It makes very good Gluten Free bread and with no effort needed. Just measure ingredients, programme and wait.
I bought this machine as it's top of the range. I usually make my bread by hand, but thought I would like a machine. I find breadmixes work great, but for some reason not from recipes. No fear, I will crack it yet. The machine is great apart from this, but it's me not the machine at fault. I would recommend one to anyone, well worth the price.
I bought this as a replacement for my bread machine used for the past 8 years. My first couple of loaves were OK but not fantastic -but now it is regularly turning out really good loaves overnight every 2 days. The reason for my first couple of failures - I didn't follow the recipes in the book but tried to adapt one of my old favourites and didn't take account that a fan oven cooks slightly differently. I've now got that sorted. The programs and recipe book supplied are very comprehensive but if you want to do your own thing completely, then you can set your own program and timings.

With any bread maker after years of use the pan will lose its non-stick. Unable to get another replacement pan for now defunct Prima I had to choose a new model. Torn between Panasonic and Cuisinart, I checked out prices of a replacement pan for both: Panasonic £67 Cuisinart £15. That and Cuisinart 5 year warranty swung it. The bread maker looks the part and oozes quality. The machine is quiet in use. The bread is cooked to a lovely even colour all over. The paddle is held in the machine and comes out cleanly from the loaf. I highly recommend this bread maker.
My mum bought this for me and I really expected the first loaf would be less than perfect. Wow... I was totally wrong, this is an amazing machine. The first loaf was brilliant, soft on the inside and a great crispy crust. Since that first day, I've tried multi grain, French, gluten free and all came out perfectly. Also tried the chocolate cake and gingerbread cake. They were quick and easy without the hassle of baking tins and Pre-heating the oven etc. My favourite so far has been the homemade pizza and focaccia with the best deep crust ever. Partners my Cuisinart soup maker perfectly - 5 star
