Lakeland 13cm PushPan® 5 "the best" Andrea 30 December 2014 I bought 8 of these to make little Christmas cakes for family and friends. Nearly didn't buy having read the review saying they were difficult to push up, but they were brilliant. A little oil first time used does make them easier to use. I cooked 3 batches of Christmas cake and all were evenly cooked and easy to push out. I've also used them for sponge cake and no cook cheese cakes with success. Certainly would recommend.
Lakeland 13cm PushPan® 5 "Great if you Grease" Sally 19 October 2012 When I first bought the pan, the seal was tight so I immediately greased it with a little butter (even though instructions say to use oil) and it worked perfectly. Made my first Victoria sponge in it yesterday and it made life very easy
Lakeland 13cm PushPan® 3 "hard to push out" Abbie 07 March 2012 I found it very hard to push the base out after baking. I had followed the instructions on packet. If it had of been a cheese cake I never would have got it out. Luckily it was bread and slid out. Great non-stick. very solid good quality A note from the team The seal is very efficient. Before first use, we advise washing and drying the pan. Next, coat the inside and the base with a small amount of cooking oil then push in the base. This will help when pushing up the base and also enhance the pan’s natural non-stick performance. With use, the pan will build up a patina which further enhances the natural non-stick.
