I was very pleased with this bowl at first and had used it several times for making white sauce,but unfortunately it cracked in the microwave last night. Lakeland have been very helpful and replaced it.
Like other reviewers I have had good use of this item but it does crack. For some strange reason, the cracks do not leak! I only threw it out when the handle decided to part company from the bowl. I have had a few years of use from the bowl so it served me well. P.S. the whisk snapped as well.
Thankyou for your feedback. We've worked with the supplier to develop the red pans in response to feedback from our customers on the clear pans. They're slightly more flexible and will withstand higher temperatures when cooking high-sugar content food.
I bought this 12 months ago and up until recently used it quite often. However, it now has cracks in it so I'm not able to use it.

I agree with some of the previous reviews, the bowl is not hard wearing but I find it useful so ordered another one when my first one cracked. I had it for over 2 years so don't think that is too bad.
great size for my morning porridge but like the small pot in this range they crack after a period of time considering gettilng a coloured one to see if the plastic lasts longer
