These whisks are totally brilliant. No faffing looking for a whisk, just leave it in the container in the microwave. Doesn't get hot or even warm. Totally brilliant invention - so much so we now have a full set!!
I got one of these free with an order and I wasn't really sure what it was for. I find it useful for stirring up hot chocolate or hot milk in the microwave. It's not as effective as a normal whisk but it's good enough for that. The best thing about it is that you can just leave it in the cup: no looking for a place to put the dripping whisk, and it doesn't get hot.
Great idea, and used a few times and put in dishwasher without any apparent problems, but on emptying dishwasher found whisk in two pieces - looks as though the head has been weakened/cracked in use then separated from the handle during the wash cycle. Used for stirring gravy and sauce, only slightly thickened, so not strong enough for purpose, in my opinion.
