Far better than a ball of household string, this food-safe silicone twine bends and stretches to secure food such as roast joints, poultry, vegetables and steamed puddings, its special star-shaped design keeping a firm grip.
Heat-resistant to 260°C, microwave and freezer safe, it can be cut to size and, of course, easily washed and reused. 4m (13') on dispenser.

I am so thrilled with this product: it is easy to use and reuse, and the knots are very easy to undo after cooking. I have just used a piece several times over for tying muslin bags in my marmalade pan, and cannot recommend it more highly!
Used for the first time this week to tie up a rolled stuffed breat of lamb. No change on cooking at roasting heat. When tying up though I found I had to have very dry hands as grease and wetness made the 'string ' slippery. Difficult if you are tying up a greasy joint to keep hands grease free. Easy to untie after cooking, easily washed to use again. Nice to use but string just as good.
I was very excited today when I saw the silicone string in one of your stores. Whilst I agree with the previous reviewer that string is just as good, every time i need some to tie a steak and kidney pudding i can't find the blessed thing. I know that with this lovely reusable product it will be in a place where i can lay my hands on it - my cutlery drawer :)
